The good news is that yes, CBD is a safe product, but it is always important to understand the risks and side effects associated with any new product you use.

CBD products can be found at all different price points, but there’s often a reason that lower-priced oils are so cheap. Discount CBD can have issues that range from unsafe additives to inconsistent amounts of CBD (or even no CBD), which can cause problems for customers trying to establish their dosage.
Buy organic – choosing a product that has been produced organically will mean that it’s free of pesticides and other chemicals, which could be a source of adverse reactions to the product and potentially harmful.
Look for details – unless you are buying CBD isolate, the CBD product will contain other natural chemical compounds, as well being suspended in a carrier oil. It is important that you know exactly what you are putting into your body, particularly if you have any intolerances or allergies.
Buy lab tested – all reputable CBD products should be lab tested and have proof of the test available. A lab test will not only show you the amount of CBD in the product, but prove that the THC content is below legal levels.
